Steven F. Kent, of Brockton, passed away January 8, 2021 at the age of 41. Steven proudly served in the United States Army as a combat engineer from 2000-2006. He was stationed in Germany, Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He traveled throughout Europe on his motorcycle including riding through the Swiss Alps which he described as a memorable experience.
While living in Florida, Steven received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Daytona State College. He enjoyed learning and working with his hands. He spent many years doing carpentry work. He used his skills in carpentry to help his mother and stepfather with various tasks around the house. He was happy to help people in need.
Steven is survived by his mother Mary Huxley and her husband Jack Semer and his sister Pam Breese and her husband Keith. He adored his nephews Nicholas, Thomas and Tyler and will be missed by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his father Wayne L. Kent, grandparents John and Ruth Huxley and Beatrice Kent, and his loving Grand-Aunt Helen Huxley.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 15th at 11am at Union Cemetery in Holbrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Covid-19 precautions will be in place.
