Sharon L. (Green) Gibbons, 80, 52-year resident of Holbrook, formerly of Quincy, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025. Born March 18, 1944, Sharon is predeceased by her loving husband, Peter E. “Mike” Gibbons, her parents, Elbridge and Kathryn Green, and her beloved grandson, Peter Gibbons.

Sharon cherished her time spent antiquing, exploring flea markets, and attending auctions with Mike. Together, they shared not only a passion for discovering hidden gems but also a lifetime of companionship along the way.

One of Sharon’s greatest joys was spending time with her grandson, Peter, feeding the ducks at the Grove Lake and D.W. Field Park. Whether sitting quietly by the water or sharing stories with Peter, those peaceful outings were some of her most treasured memories.

Sharon is lovingly remembered by her sons for being a determined, resilient woman, always safeguarding her boys.

Sharon is survived by her sons, Peter and his wife, Joanne, of Plymouth, Joseph and his wife, Lynette, of Wilmington, Shawn and his wife, Tara, of Avon, brother Edward Green, sister Jeanette (Green) Dambrosio, and sister Carol Green.

Sharon was the beloved “Nana” to David, Kristofer, James, Ariana, John, Alyssa, Fiona, and Liam, as well as several great grandchildren.

Visitation for both Sharon and her husband, Mike, will be Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Hurley Currie Funeral Home, 127 S. Franklin Street, Holbrook, MA 02343. A brief service will be held at 12 p.m. Burial will be immediately following in Union Street Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation, in Sharon’s memory.
