Shannon L. Johnson Capodilupo

Passed on November 14, 2021
Resident of Holbrook, MA

Shannon Lynn (Johnson) Capodilupo, 51 years old, of Holbrook, passed away on November 14, 2021. She is survived by her husband, John; Son, Johnny; Fur baby, Smorsey; Mom, Joan Maney; Sister, Stacey Johnson; Brothers, Thomas Johnson and David Johnson; Nieces, Chelsea Benes (Johnson) and Erica Dincecco; and many nieces, nephews, great-nephews, cousins, and an abundance of dear friends, all of whom she loved dearly.

Shannon grew up in Brockton and graduated from Brockton High School. She received a Bachelors in Nursing from Fitchburg State College. She shared her light and set out to positively touch lives from the very beginning. Shannon later worked at Holbrook High School as a substitute teacher where she was loved by so many of her students and colleagues. Shannon loved cheering on Johnny when he played sports, running the Holbrook Youth Basketball League with John as her right-hand partner, playing cards and Bingo, and enjoying a good cookout with family and friends. Some of the best moments were even spent with family and friends at the kitchen table or sun porch. Shannon knew how to make everyone laugh and brighten a room. Despite her struggles, she fought hard for her family. She was a breast and brain cancer survivor and never gave up. Anyone who knew her, knew she had the biggest heart. She loved fiercely and deeply, and we take comfort knowing she is at peace. She will be missed more than our words can express.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held Friday, November 19th from 4-7pm. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her memory to Dana Farber Jimmy Fund or the MSPCA.
