Sandra A Lynch

Sandra A. Lynch

July 24, 1958 – November 15, 2024
Resident of Randolph, MA

Sandra Ann Lynch, better known as Sandy to her loved ones, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2024, in Randolph, MA. Born on July 24, 1958, in Worcester, MA, and raised in Brockton, MA, Sandy lived with more strength, honesty, and heart than most of us could ever hope to muster.

Her selflessness was matched only by her ability to light up any room with her smile and laughter.

The beach was her happy place, and summers spent down the Cape Cod with her family and friends carried many of her happiest memories. She loved going on day trips, traveling, watching the Sox and Pats, trying new restaurants, and exploring new places. Her dog, Fenway, was forever at her side, knowing he could always count on his mom for cuddles and treats. A true fashionista, Sandy was known for her style and loved shopping trips with her daughters, Stephanie and Brittany, and her best friends, “the girls,” as she called them. Hosting friends and family—especially on Christmas night—was her superpower, and her parties always left guests full of food, laughter, and great memories.

A graduate of Brockton High and Bridgewater State College, Sandy dedicated her professional life to teaching at Butler Elementary School in Avon, MA, where she helped shape young minds with the same care and compassion she brought to her own family.

Sandy faced cancer the way she approached everything in life: with tenacity, courage, and an unwavering belief that laughter and love could see her through. And they did—along with the support of the incredible family and friends who stood by her side every step of the way.

She is survived by her devoted husband and best friend of 41 years, Richard Paul Lynch; her cherished daughters, Stephanie Ann Lynch and Brittany Ann Lynch, who loved her endlessly and were inspired by her strength and grace; and her loving mother-in-law, Mary Lynch. She is predeceased by her dear parents, Sylvia and Kenneth Fox, and her father-in-law, John Lynch.

Services will be held at Hurley Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from 4-7 PM. A funeral Mass will follow at St. Mary’s Parish on November 20, 2024, at 10 AM, with a procession leading to the Elks in Randolph, MA, where Sandy’s life will be celebrated with the joy she always brought to the world.

Sandy lived life to the fullest and leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and lessons in bravery. In her honor, we ask you to hug your loved ones a little tighter and appreciate the big and small moments life has to offer.

It is with great sadness that I learned of Sandy’s death. My deepest condolences to Rick, Brittany and Stephanie and all who knew and loved her. She was a wonderful neighbor and parishioner of St. Mary’s parish. Her service, along with Rick’s, as Eucharistic Ministers was appreciated and we are filled with gratitude for their faithfulness to the Church. She will be with you through this journey of loss and sorrow.
