Ronald B. Myers of Holbrook, MA passed away unexpectedly Thursday August 16, 2018 at the age of 71. Ron was born in Boston, MA but was raised in Holbrook, where he spent over 50 years. He graduated from Holbrook High School in 1965. He later served our country by enlisting in the US Air Force. He continued a life of service as a devout Christian by preaching from the pulpit, serving as a deacon, and later teaching God’s word through a prison ministry program. With a passion for football that started as an offensive lineman for Holbrook High, he later returned as a coach. For many years, he also coached for the Randolph Oilers Football Organization, a team he was proud to call “family”.

Ron was the son of the late Stanley and Jean Myers, brother of Donald Myers and his wife Donna of Easton, and the late Carol (Myers) Cartwright of Easton. Devout family man, Ron was preceded in death by his beautiful wife of 44 years Doreen (Pina) Myers. He is survived by his daughter Tanya Goncalves of Holbrook and son Ryan Myers and his wife Colleen of Avon. Loving Papa of his grandchildren Kendra, Kayla, Owen, and Braden.

Visiting hours will be held at Hurley Funeral Home, 134 S. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph on Wednesday August 22nd from 4-8 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 23rd at 10am. Interment to follow at Avon Cemetery.
