Roger Ransome, of Randolph, passed away December 18, 2020 at the age of 58. Roger was born June 4, 1962 to Renrick and Yvonne Ransome on the beautiful twin island of Trinidad and Tobago. Roger migrated to New York City in 2012, where he worked as a fabricator and welder. Roger was a missionary at heart and always advocated for the socially displaced and underprivileged. Roger took many international mission trips to Brazil and Suriname where he helped rebuild communities and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. While living in Trinidad, Roger spent his time mentoring the youth and teaching young men welding as a trade; many of whom have successful careers of their own due to Roger's guidance. Roger was a minister and a devoted member of his church, Revival Time Assembly in San Fernando, Trinidad.

Roger is survived by his two children, Jason and Jewrisha Ransome; his grandson, Elijah Ransome; his two sisters, Lynette and Yvette, his brother Linton; and nieces and nephews. Roger is greeted at the gates of heaven by his parents and older brother, Keith Ransome.

A funeral service will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph on Tuesday, December 22nd at 10:30am. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Randolph. For the livestream of the funeral, go to www.harborview.live.
