Nelson John Costa

Nelson John Costa, 96, of Brockton, Massachusetts, died at South Short Hospital in Weymouth, Massachusetts, of natural causes on May 28, 2024.

He was born in Somerville, Massachusetts in 1928 to John and Florence Costa. Nelson graduated from Somerville High School before joining the Marines. After serving in the Marines, Nelson joined the Polaroid Corporation, working there for over forty years before retiring.

Nelson is survived by his wife Patricia, his daughter Nancy, his son David and his grandson Ian.

Visiting Hours will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph on Monday, June 3rd from 10am-12pm followed by service at 12pm.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial at Calvary Cemetery, 163 N Cary St., Brockton.
