Mary E. (Fox) Boudreau, 84, of Avon, formerly of Holbrook, beloved wife of the late Warren E. Boudreau for 56 years, passed away unexpectedly on March 7, 2021. Born in Boston, daughter of the late Frederick and Emma (Day) Fox, a graduate of Jamaica Plain High School, Mary grew up in Roxbury, later on moving to Holbrook where she raised her children. At the time of her death, she resided in Avon. She had worked at State Street Bank of a period of time. She was an avid reader who loved her books. Mary was a kind and caring person who had a heart of gold.

In addition to her late husband, Mary leaves behind her children, Michael Boudreau and his wife Carol of Green Bay, WI, and Marianne Leear and her husband Philip of Avon. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Elizabeth, Allison, Timothy, Brian, and Rebecca along with her great-grandson, Mark. She leaves her loving sister and best friend Geraldine Rogers of Holbrook, along with her sister-in-law Mary Ann Fox of Tampa, FL. Predeceased by her brother, John Fox. She also leaves her cousins, William Rettman, Richard and Janice Day of Norfolk. Mary leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home, 127 So. Franklin St. (Rt. 37), Holbrook on Thursday, March 11th from 4-7pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Covid-19 precautions will be in place. A private funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Church in Holbrook. Interment MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
