Marion V. Malloy, of Randolph, passed away January 29, 2021 at the age of 98. Born in Watertown, Marion graduated from Rosary Academy High School and attended college at The Katharine Gibbs School in Boston. She worked part-time as an administrate secretary for a practicing psychoanalyst in Cambridge. Marion transitioned in the same role and provided secretarial services to The Psychoanalytic Institute of New England (PINE) in her home office located in Arlington. Marion volunteered as the Secretary of The Randolph Garden Club.
Her hobbies and interests included; furniture restoration, sewing, knitting of intricate sweaters, gardening and completing the Sunday New Your Times crossword puzzles.
Beloved wife of the late Francis F. Malloy. Loving mother of Gayle P. Malloy, Robert A. Malloy, David C. Malloy, and the late Donald F. and Jean Malloy. Cherished grandmother of Marcie Malloy-Lee, Dylan Taylor Malloy, Jennifer Malloy-Cairo, Douglas Malloy, Michael Malloy, Brian Malloy, and Zoë La Pierre, and great-grandmother of Anthony Ambrose, Robert Lee. Dominic Taylor Malloy,
Brisa Malloy-Cairo, Max Malloy, Elouise Malloy. Marion was predeceased by her parents John Joseph and Marguerite (Travers) Corcoran; and brothers, Robert “Buddy”, John Joseph “Jackie”, and David Corcoran.
Family and friends will gather in July for a celebration of Marion’s life. Both Robert and Gayle will keep you informed of the details of the event soon.
