Marilyn Ann (Young) Romano, of Attleboro, formerly of Randolph, passed into the arms of our savior on July 11, 2017 at the age of 84. Beloved Mother of Robert J. Young and his Wife Donna of Raynham, Richard A. Young of Wrentham and Elizabeth G. (Young) Schultz and her Husband James of Attleboro. Beloved Daughter of the Late Joseph and Lillian D’Agostino of Randolph, Beloved Sister of Patricia O’Malia of Taunton and the Late Joan Reynolds of Randolph. Marilyn also leaves 6 Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and her extended family, the Staff of Golden Living Center in Attleboro, where she was loved and cared for, for over 10 years.
Born on August 4th 1932, Marilyn was raised in Dorchester, MA and later married Robert J. Young Sr. and moved to Randolph where she lived for over 40 years. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church and worked for Commonwealth of Massachusetts Division of Unemployment Assistance in Brockton, MA.
Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28) Randolph on Monday, July 17th at 9:15am followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary’s Church in Randolph at 10am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday, July 16th from 2-4pm. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Randolph. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Marilyn’s charity, the MSPCA.
