Karen “Sue” Sibley

April 16, 1956 – April 2, 2026
Resident of Randolph, MA

Karen Sibley, known to nearly everyone as Sue, passed away on April 2, 2026, at the age of 69. Born and raised in Dorchester, she later made her home in Randolph, where she built a life defined by one constant: her love for the people around her, especially the children.

Sue is survived by her sister Donna, her sons Ryan, Robert, Vinny, and Matthew, her grandchildren Tina, Gia, Lorenzo, Julien, Brooklynn, Dominic, Talia, AJ, Charlotte, Aiden, and Freya, and a wide constellation of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who adored her without reservation. In passing, she joins her beloved son Christopher and her parents, Russell and Blondie Sibley, reunited at last.

She had a gift with children that went beyond affection. Kids were simply drawn to her, and she gave them her whole heart in return. For years, she volunteered at her children’s schools, showing up not because she had to, but because that’s who she was. A nurturer to her core, she lived her life entirely for the people she loved – her children, her grandchildren, her many nieces and nephews. The world feels a little quieter today without her goofy smile and her camera constantly capturing everyone’s favorite moments.

Sue was a devoted bird lover who kept many beautiful and exotic birds throughout her life, fostered birds in need, and was a proud member of the Randolph Bird Club. An avid knitter and crocheter, she spent countless hours creating for family, friends, and strangers alike. Everybody in the family has something Sue made. A blanket, a hat, something that’s just always been there.

While our hearts are heavy with her loss, we find peace in knowing that her struggle is over and she is finally reunited with her son Chris. She will be deeply missed and warmly remembered by everyone lucky enough to have known her.

Sue was dedicated to family. She will be missed. I first knew her as Karen when she was just a toddler…later her teenage years she and her sister hanged their names and got me very confused! Gone too soon. RIP Sue
