John Kenneth Eisnor, age 77, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 6, 2025 at his home in Avon, Massachusetts. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Wellington and Frances (Weeks) Eisnor. John attended schools in Dorchester, graduating from Dorchester High School in 1965. His family later settled in West Roxbury. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1968 and proudly served in Vietnam as a member of the SeaBees.
John married the love of his life, Barbara in 1968. Married for 56 years, they settled in Avon, MA where they raised their two sons, Scott and Ken.
John was a member of the Plumbers and Gasfitters Local 12 Union for 55 years. He mentored many young apprentices throughout the years and made lifelong friends with many of his brothers.
Throughout his life, you could catch John cruising to Bike Week in Laconia or Daytona on one of his beloved Harleys with Barbara at his back. He and Barbara participated in numerous charity runs as part of the Upland Riders motorcycle group.
Beloved husband of Barbara (Fletcher) for 56 years. Loving father of Scott Eisnor and his wife Kristina (Tuholski) of Bridgewater, Ken Eisnor and his wife Corinne (McCarron) of Raynham. Cherished Grampy of Mary, Kaitlin, and Jessica Eisnor. Brother to Ann Paquette and her husband Robert of Grand Island, NY, Kathy Vadala and her husband Leonard of Clarence, NY, and his late sister, Barbara Margaca and her husband, Emanuel of Walpole.
Visting hours will be held Wednesday, January 15th from 4-7pm at the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 S. Main Street, Randolph, MA. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment to follow on Thursday, January 16th at 10:45am at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
