John J. Fahey Jr

John J. Fahey, Jr., of Randolph, entered eternal rest on December 31, 2016 at the age of 83. John was educated in Boston schools and was a lifetime member of Pipefitters Local 537 holding many positions that included Project Manager for M J. Flaherty Co. He was a well-respected throughout the HVAC industry and was honorably discharged from the USMC during the Korean War. John coached Little League Baseball and Randolph Youth Hockey. He loved sports and traveling to Marco Island in Florida. John will be missed by those who knew and respected him.

Son of the late John and Mary Fahey. John enjoyed 57 years of marriage to his best friend, Maryjane (Malay) Fahey. Loving father of Jayne Cahill and her husband Thomas of Pembroke, John Fahey and his wife Nancy of Scituate, Joseph Fahey and Janice Fahey, both of Randolph, and the late James Fahey. Loving Papa to 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Brother of Kenneth Fahey of Randolph, Elaine Moccia of Brockton, Margaret Jones of Randolph, and the late Rita Betti of Gilford NH. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28) Randolph on Friday, January 6that 9:15am followed by a funeral mass at St. Bernadette’s Church in Randolph at 10am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday, January 5th from 4-8pm. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Randolph. Late disabled US Marine Korean War Veteran.
