John H. Dashner, Jr, “Jack”, in Abington, formerly of Randolph, passed away August 20, 2020. Adored son of Marion R. (Wallace) Dashner, and the late John H. Dashner. Former husband of Kathleen (Crowley) Dashner of Fitzwilliam, NH. Beloved father of Elizabeth A. Beaupre (David) of Bryn Mawr, PA, John H. Dashner III of Fitzwilliam, NH, and the late Joseph A. Dashner II (Linda Dashner-Mullholland). Loving Papa of Sean D. Dashner (Suzanne) of Belmont, Jennifer M. Bonzagni (Christopher) of Jaffrey, NH, Joseph J. Dashner of Pelham, NH, Jacqueline E. Cahill (Ian) of Bridgewater, Kristen J. Bates (Patrick) of Lakeville, David R. Beaupre, Jr. (Fiancé Chelsea Buoye) of Falls Church, VA, Jessica K. Dashner of Keene, NH and Caroline E. Beaupre of Bryn Mawr, PA. Proud great-grandfather of Caleb, Abigail and Tristen Bonzagni, Braydon and Kyleigh Cahill, and Toren and Wallace Bates. Brother of the late Bernadette M. Byam (Alan) of Charlotte, NC. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends, former daughter-in-law Nancy DeAngelis, and bonus in-law Joan Nistendirk Bushey.

Life member and former President of the Holbrook Sportsman’s Club. Three-time President of the Colony Center for Health and Rehabilitation Residents Committee. Randolph High School Class of 1961. Avid gun and motorcycle enthusiast, history buff, private pilot, youth hockey coach, Red Sox, Patriots and Bruins fan.

A private memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, September 2nd at St. Mary’s Church in Randolph, MA, immediately followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery 245 North Street, Randolph, MA at 11:15 am. All are welcome at the burial. Covid-19 restrictions will be in place. In lieu of flowers, and Covid-19 restrictions, please consider donations to the Michael J.
