It was a great honor to have had Joan as a friend. We had so many laughs together & just plain old nice visits. I can't adequately express how much I will miss her.

Joan was a lovely woman, and I feel honored to have known her my entire life. She was thoughtful, and really did give the best cards. A few years ago, I had one of the birthday cards she gave me framed and it hangs in my kitchen. There isn't a time that I don't pass it by and smile. To her family, may memories of Joan be a blessing. And, as my mom used to call her with affection, "Joanie Baloney", I love you and I'm going to miss you, Love Patty Ann
