James Chisholm, of W. Bridgewater, formerly of Holbrook, passed away November 25, 2024 at the age of 89.  Born in Antigonish, Nova Scotia to John and Florence (McKenzie) Chisholm, Jim grew up in Dorchester and then Randolph.  He married the late Sally (Blye) Chisholm and they made their home in Holbrook, later moving to W. Bridgewater.

Jim enjoyed puzzles, brain teasers, having lunch at the senior center in W. Bridgewater, and trying his luck at the Plainridge Casino.

In addition to his late wife, Jim was predeceased by his children, James A., Jeffrey, and Pamela Anne Chisholm.  He is survived by his children, Julie White of W. Bridgewater, Joe Chisholm and his wife Kathy and Jill Doucette and her husband Dean, all of Holbrook, and Jennifer Rowan and her husband Rob of NC, his brothers Robert Chisholm of Melrose, and William Chisholm of Somerville, and his great friend and brother-in-law, Don Turner of Abington.  He is also survived by many grandchildren great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held at the Hurley Currie Funeral Home, 127 So. Franklin St. (Rt. 37), Holbrook on Monday, December 2nd from 4-8pm.  A service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 3rd at 10am.  Interment Central Cemetery, Randolph.

Also His Jimmy and Jeff And Deano AND ESPECIALLY…HIS PAMMY!!! He was ALWAYS A strong man!! KIND man!! HE WILL be KEPT …VERY BUSY…in Heaven….BY YOUR MOM…( Aunt Sally) But HE would NOT Want It ANY OTHER WAY !!!
