Gerald E. Colado

Gerald E. Colado, of Holbrook, passed away April 25, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 79 years old. Born in Boston, Gerald lived in Holbrook for 40 years. He enjoyed gardening, metal welding, and most of all, spending time with family.

Loving father of Kenneth Colado and Sherry Wilson of GA, Lawrence Colado and his wife Cynthia of GA, Donna Colado and Daniel Greenwood of Whitman, Anthony Colado of Whitman, and the late Cheryl Mullin. Devoted son of Mary (DeRosa) Colado of Quincy and the late Geronimo Colado. Dear brother of James Colado of NH and Mary Ortolano of Quincy. Cherished grandfather of Kristen, Katherine, Michael, Mallory, Christian, Lauren, and Dana.

Visiting hours will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home, 127 So. Franklin St. (Rt. 37), Holbrook on Sunday, April 29th from 5-8pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 30th at 11am at Union Cemetery in Holbrook. A celebration of life will be held immediately following at the VFW in Whitman.
