George loved traveling and cruising with his wife Ruth. His last trip was to South Dakota to see Mt. Rushmore with Jonathan, Beth, Billy & Cat.
Every evening he would go to Highland Plaza to buy a lottery ticket – never won much, and he would travel around the building scolding the kids hanging out back. They called him the Security Man. He loved gardening & in his declining years took to putting the plants in giant black pots & told people he was a “pot” farmer – some people asked to buy his “pot”.
George was proud that his ancestors came over on the Mayflower 400 yrs ago.
He was a great husband, father & grandfather & will be greatly missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
