McMakin Jr. and his wife Kathyrn McMakin of Plymouth, Nancy Scherber of North Easton, David McMakin and his wife Lisa Gail of Waynesboro, VA.

Cherished grandmother of Katie McMakin of Plymouth, Kimberly Setzer of Plymouth, Kristina Wilson of Halifax, the late Jennifer (Scherber) Bianco, Keryn Ford of Glastonbury, CT,  Elizabeth and Emily McMakin of Waynesboro, VA.  Great-grandmother of Madison and Cooper Wilson of Halifax, Joseph and Julia Bianco of Scituate, RI, Blanche and Bohdi Setzer of Plymouth, Camden and Myles of Glastonbury, CT.   Predeceased by her parents, Giovani Batisto and MaryLouise (Taschiotti) Fasolino, her siblings, Stella Amoroso, Jenny Delacono, Josephine Hallisey, Marguerite Cheverie, Ava Georgeson (her twin), Christine Dubree, David Fasolino, and Francis Fasolino.  She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Eva was a hard working and dedicated woman who remained employed to the age of 90. She spent 20 years at White’s Bakery where she took great pride in helping  customers and in keeping a “perfect” cookie case.  Every Saturday evening, she would bring treats to the Holbrook Fire Station and to St. Joseph’s Rectory.  Eva was an avid bowler who loved taking care of her house and yard, and treasured the friendships she shared with her neighbors. Nothing brought her more joy than a full table for Sunday dinner, surrounded by her sisters, sharing stories and laughing over memories of their childhood home in Hyde Park.  Above all, she was kind, loving, generous and deeply devoted to her family.  More than anything, Eva loved her family.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Joseph Church in Holbrook on Monday, May 18th at 10am.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bridges of Pembroke Employee Appreciation Fund, 49 Cross Street, Pembroke, MA 02359 or My Brother’s Keeper, 534 Washington St, North Easton, MA 02356.

Eva you were a great lady. I’m not surprised you made it to 98 years old. I’ll never forget how you’d come walking into Randolph Savings Bank waving a check in the air saying what am I going to do with this. And the many times you brought us in treats from the bakery.

Chris and I want to express our sincerest condolences on the passing of Auntie Eva. As someone I have known my whole life, she truly was an inspirational person in so many ways. Her smile, her infectious laugh, and most importantly, her love for family and friends made an incredible impression upon me. I will hold many fond memories of the wonderful times we shared as family. We will keep her and all of the family in our hearts and in our prayers.
May you rest in peace and be with Uncle Mac, your granddaughter, Jennifer, and your son, Bobby, all of your sister’s and brothers and parents. I know they are all up in heaven welcoming you, and watch down on your daughter, son, daughter-in-law, and all your grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

I will always smile at the visits to Eva’s.
She was a strong woman. We talked about all kinds of things including her family and the house that was built for her by her husband. She would light up
