Elaine (Baker) Violante, of Randolph, passed away January 25, 2023. Born in Dorchester, Elaine was raised in Savin Hill and was a long-time resident of Randolph. She worked as secretary at Gillette and later at her husband’s business Mass Appraisal Service in Randolph. Elaine enjoyed shopping, knitting, the beach, cooking, her pet chihuahuas, and vacations in Newport, RI.
Beloved wife for 48 years of Eugene Violante of South Boston. Loving mother of Jennifer Violante Kummerer and her husband Justin of Weymouth , Tiffany Violante Mone and her husband Michael of Garden City, NY and April Violante Brown and her husband Shawn of Braintree. Sister of Ann Sullivan of Canton, Michael Baker of Weymouth, and the late Edward Baker. Daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Johnson) Baker. Cherished Grammy of Jules, Jillian, Vivienne and Lillian.
Visiting hours will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 South Main Street (Rt. 28), Randolph on Sunday, January 29th from 3-6pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment private.
I am so very sorry to hear of Elaine,s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with her husband, daughters and grandchildren. Elaine was such a kind and happy person. Cherish all your beautiful memories of her.
I grew up with Elaine in Savin Hill. She was my first best friend.
I so wish I'd kown of her passing before now.
