David J. Burns Jr

David J. Burns, Jr., of Randolph, passed away unexpectedly February 17, 2018 at the age of 60. Born in Brockton, David was raised and educated in Randolph. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and a truck driver. David enjoyed riding his motorcycles, working out, going to the beach, watching the Patriots, and most of all, spending time with his granddaughters.

Beloved husband of the late Deborah (Kibbee) Burns. Loving father of Bryan Burns of Randolph and Andrea Cogavin and her husband Edward of W. Bridgewater. Devoted brother of Susan Allen of Stoughton, Gail Burns of Taunton, Norman Burns of Randolph, Anne Leonard of MN, Brian Burns of Avon, and Kristin Cabral of Bridgewater. Dear grandfather of Brielle, Keira, and Kyleigh. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph on Thursday, February 22nd at 9:15am followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary’s Church in Randolph at 10am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday, February 21st from 5-8pm. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations in David’s memory can be made to the Arthritis Foundation National Office, 1355 Peachtree St. NE, Suite 600, Atlanta, GA 30309.
