Craig Costa, 59, of Wareham, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 in Boston after a brief illness. Born in Quincy, he was the son of the late Albino and Christine (DiBona) Costa. Craig was the owner of Costa Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning.

He and his brother were raised in an extremely close and loving family, who spent as much time as possible with all of his cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. Family was everything. His love for his family was clear and undeniable. Craig was an proud dad who taught the importance of hard work and generosity to all. He and his brother and extended family enjoyed years of holidays and celebrations and he was the ultimate host at this famous slab parties on the lakefront in Wareham.

Craig was blessed with a big, wonderful group of childhood friends who never left his side, nor he theirs. He possessed the amazing gift to make friends wherever he went and made each of those people feel like a best friend. His contagious laughter would brighten the darkest of moods and electrify any occasion. Time spent with Craig would leave you with many memories and stories to cherish over the years. Never a dull moment!

Craig’s passions were many; he was a gifted singer and musician and performed as Karaoke DJ at Stevie B’s restaurant in Onset, as well as all of the great parties he hosted; he was an avid golfer and fisherman. Boating, waterskiing and jet-skiing were an few of his favorite pastimes. An early love of all things with two wheels led him from dirt-biking in the woods of Holbrook to riding all over the country with his beloved Harley Davidson with an group of buddies who (of course!) became family.

Craig leaves children Ryan, Christine and Christopher of Wareham; brother Glen Costa and his wife Jori, his niece and Goddaughter Ariana Costa, all of Holbrook; cherished partner Katelyn Jordan of Wareham; several cousins and of course, many, many friends.

Visiting hours will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home, 127 South Franklin St. (Rt. 37), Holbrook on Friday, May 14th from 4-7pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Covid-19 precautions will be in place. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 95 Crescent St., Quincy on Saturday, May 15th at 10am. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
