DeBerardinis (Lyons), Claire, long time resident of Holbrook, MA passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on
December 5th, 2023. Claire was the loving wife of Ralph DeBerardinis of 56 years and devoted mother of Gina Halpin, Michelle Cully, Ralph DeBerardinis and wife Sarah, and Donald DeBerardinis and wife Jill. Loving grandmother of 10, Katie, Matthew, Erin, Jessica, Ryan, Jason, Andrew, Reese, Noah, and Aubree. Sister to Patricia "Patsy" Morrissey, Joanne MacNeil, Kathleen "Katie" Heyl, James "Jimbo" Lyons and Jeanne Dunn. Preceded in death by her sisters, Marion O'Handley, Dorothy "Midgie" Marinelli, and Barbara Boretti. Brothers, John Lyons, William Lyons, and Robert Lyons. Devoted Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Claire was born in Boston, MA on November 15, 1946, to the late John and Marion Lyons. She grew up in and lived in Dorchester for many years until moving to Holbrook to raise her family. Claire worked at Xpressman Trucking & Courier for 23 years until she retired in 2017. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family and never missed her grandkids' competitions, games, or recitals. She brought so much joy and happiness to not only her family but her extended families as well. Although Claire did not enjoy flying, she traveled to many vacation destinations including several trips to Europe. This past summer she was able to enjoy time in Italy with her husband, daughters, and grandchildren. Claire is well known for her famous tomato sauce and open-door policy where anyone and everyone was always welcome for dinner on Wednesday nights.
The family invites you to join them for a period of visitation on Monday, December 11, 2023, from 11 am – 2 pm. at the Hurley Funeral Home, 127 South Franklin Street, Holbrook, MA. Burial will be private. Please join the family in a Celebration of Life at the Randolph Elks, 21 School Street, Randolph, MA from 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Claire's memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital via www.stjude.org/donate.

Friends for 50+ years. So many great memories. I will miss Claire. There was always a smile and laughter. She was very proud of her family. Rest in peace my friend.
The most beautiful sweetest lady, like a grandma to me. You made me feel like family and left this world a beautiful place. So many amazing memories from Scituate and being invited to family dinner on Wednesdays. I love you, you will never be forgotten.
My aunt Claire was a very important part of my childhood I will always remember her and love her with all my heart my prayers go out to the family and send love .
