Christine M. Anderson
Passed on January 21, 2025
Resident of Randolph, MA
In Brockton, Christine M. Anderson, age 76, passed away at Good Samaritan Medical Center on January 21, 2025 following a lengthy period of declining health. Christine was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Joseph P Connolly Jr. and the late Barbara (Milliken) Connolly. Christine was a lifelong resident of Randolph and proud of it.
She worked as a certified phlebotomist for over 30 years. She loved her work and was acknowledged, by her peers and upper management, for her ability to put people at ease while performing her work. Christine would always try and help out people in need, whether it was caring for her younger brothers & sisters, or a friend or the child of a friend which is how she took into her home “step children” like Kathy of Quincy, MA, who lived with Chris for 10 years; or Gavin of Abington, MA, who was raised from childhood. Christine loved to garden, watch movies of all genres and listen to country music, travel (in her younger years), care for birds and small dogs but most of all she loved to cook. A skill she learned from her dad, whom she greatly admired.
Christine is pre-deceased by her former husband Michael T. Connelly with whom she had two sons: Thomas Michael Connelly of Long Beach, CA and Eric Paul Connelly of Laconia, NH. She is survived by her brother Joseph P Connolly III and his wife Linda of Brockton, her sister Sandra Steidle and her husband Fred of Foxboro and Lynne Connolly (Lohnes) and her husband Tom of Randolph and her late siblings; Robert (Bob) M. Connolly and Paul B. Connolly as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In accordance with Christine’s wishes, there will be no services or burial and cremation was handled by Hurley Funeral Home in Randolph.
