Carol A. (Rose) Holt

Carol A. (Rose) Holt, of Randolph, passed away October 17, 2026 at the age of 92.

Carol was born in the town, worked at the movie theatre in the 50s where she met her husband, Howard, working at the ticket counter. They married in 1954, together for 57 years. She worked for Randolph public schools as a superintendent secretary for 30 years, also worked for Dr. Hickey Dental Office in the 60’s. She always had little Debbie’s treats on the counter and a big hug and warm smile in the kitchen. She loved to garden and do yard work, knit and cook. Known for always being dressed up with her copper hair and signature orange lipstick. She is back with her husband Howard, son Paul, her grandson David and daughter-in-law Debbie reunited in heaven.

Beloved wife of the late Howard Holt, Jr.  Loving mother of David, Peter, and the late Paul.  She was known as “Nana” best by her granddaughter Lindsay and her husband Bruce, and Patrick, and so close with her 3 great grandchildren Michael, Livia and David.

Visiting hours will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph on Saturday, October 24^th from 8:30am-9:30am followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary’s Church in Randolph at 10am.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.  Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Randolph.
