Brittany R. Burns
March 5, 1989 – November 6, 2024
Resident of Randolph, MA
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Brittany Rose Burns, who left us on November 6, 2024. Born on March 5, 1989, in Stoneham, Massachusetts, Brittany was the cherished daughter of Sandra Rose Powell of Randolph, MA, and Paul Thomas Burns of Wilmington, MA. She was also greatly loved by Sandra’s late partner Sean Griffin and Paul’s partner Karen Smith. She was 35 years old.
Brittany graduated from Arlington Catholic High School and was employed at Doukakis Corsetti Insurance Agency in Arlington, MA. Known for her dedication and warm spirit, she was deeply admired by her colleagues and clients alike.
A loving mother to her daughter, Aria Gately, age 9, Brittany’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially with Aria, to whom she devoted her heart and soul. She shared her life with Aria’s father, Sam Gately, and was surrounded by the love of her parents, grandparents, and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Brittany was passionate about music, pets, and making memories with loved ones. Whether attending concerts, caring for her many beloved pets, or simply enjoying family time, she embraced life with warmth, laughter, and love.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service celebrating Brittany’s life on Tuesday, November 12th, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home, located at 134 South Main Street in Randolph, MA.
Brittany’s vibrant spirit, kindness, and devotion will be dearly missed by all who knew her. In honor of her life, the family kindly requests memorial contributions to St. Mary’s of the Hills School: https://smhschool.org/make-a-gift.
May her memory be a blessing.
