Barbara L. (Estes) Richardson

Barbara L. (Estes) Richardson, born in 1932, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2026.  She leaves behind a legacy defined by her unwavering devotion to her family and a lifetime of kindness.

Barbara’s greatest joy in life was found in the time she spent with her family.  She was a constant, nurturing presence in the lives of her children and grandchildren, always finding ways to make them feel loved.  Her home was the gathering-place filled with warmth, laughter, and love.

Professionally, Barbara was a dedicated and respected leader for many years with Chapman Lamp where she was known for her strong work ethic.  She brought integrity and genuine care to her colleagues.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Jack Richardson and her daughter Karen L. Richardson.  She is survived by her 4 sons, John and his wife Sue, Michael and his partner Trish, Paul and his partner Rachel, and Robert (Bob) and his wife Janet, her 8 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit and for her commitment to those she loved.  She made such a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Visiting hours will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph, on Wednesday, July 1^st from 10am-12pm followed by a funeral service at 12pm.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.  Interment St. Michael’s Cemetery, Avon.
