Anna M. (DiBlasi) Arena, of Holbrook, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 89. Anna was born in 1932 to the late Lena and James DiBlasi and was raised in the West End of Boston with her two siblings, the late Marie McCoy and the late Murray DiBlasi. On October 26, 1952, she married her beloved husband, Michael Arena, and together they raised their three children in Holbrook, Massachusetts. Along with her husband, Anna is survived by their three children: Michael Arena of Whitman, Linda Parkinson and her husband Ron of Abington, and Tony Arena and his wife Valerie of Siesta Key. Anna was the loving grandmother of Diahann Spaulding and her husband Brian, Carolyn Stafford and her husband Billy, Tori Campbell and her husband Ed, and Jessica Kapust and her husband Kevin. She was also the adored great-grandmother of Sophia and Juliet Spaulding, Will, Emma, and Lucas Stafford, Madison Campbell, and Benjamin Kapust.
Funeral from the Hurley Currie Funeral Home, 127 So. Franklin St. (Rt. 37), Holbrook on Wednesday, August 25th at 11:15am followed by a funeral mass at St. Joseph Church in Holbrook at 12pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, August 24th from 4-7pm. Interment St Michael’s Cemetery, Boston.
