Ann Marie “Annie†Schwarz, 58, of Randolph, Massachusetts passed away suddenly at her home on Thursday, January 17, 2019.
Ann Marie was born in White Plains, New York, on July 9, 1960 to Robert L. Schwarz Sr. and Mary Ann (Hogan) Warren.
She graduated from Hendrick Hudson High School in Montrose, NY in 1978 where she was captain of the cheerleading team. After high school, Ann Marie went on to study nursing at D'Youville college, graduating in 1982 with a bachelor's degree in nursing.
Ann Marie worked for over 25 years in a variety of facets of nursing. Her career included employment at the VA Hospital, in Montrose, NY, the Westchester Medical Center, in Hawthorne, NY, the Northern Westchester Hospital in Mt Kisco, NY, the Tokos High Risk Monitoring Co., in Tarrytown, NY, and Olsten Kimbery Qualitycare in Auburn, MA.
Annie met her long-time partner Andrew Stone in Newport, Rhode Island in 1994 and they fell in love. She moved to Massachusetts to live with Andrew in 1995. Together they enjoyed traveling, taking cruises, gardening, and their many adored pets. Ann Marie and Andrew remained together for 25 years until her passing.
She had a deep love for animals and volunteered in various capacities for the Internet Miniature Pinscher service. She was also an enthusiastic and talented jewelry maker.
Ann Marie is survived by mother Mary Ann Warren; brothers, Robert Schwarz, Jr. (Jane), Michael Schwarz (Lisa), John Schwarz, Step-sister Tina Entwistle (Mark); Step-brother Michael Warren; Half-sister Rosemarie Schwarz, Godfather Fred McConville; Aunts and Uncles Margaret Bradley, Jim Hogan (Kathy) and Kathleen Murphy (Tom); and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. Ann Marie is also survived by her partner of 25 years Andrew Stone, and her beloved pets Jazzy, Sascha, and Bosco.
Viewing hours are on Friday January 25th, 2019 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph with service and eulogies to follow beginning at 12:00 pm.
