Ann C. (Kelley) Phinney, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on her 81st birthday, March 31, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born to the late Thomas and Dorothy Kelley, Ann’s life was a testament to love, devotion, and unwavering commitment to her loved ones.

A graduate of Stoughton High School, Ann settled in Holbrook, Massachusetts, where she built a fulfilling life spanning over five decades. Her husband of 50 years, Norman A. Phinney, predeceased her, leaving behind a legacy of love and companionship. Ann was a devoted mother to Diane Brownell and her husband Thomas of Lakeville, Allan Phinney and his wife Marie of Holbrook, Donald Phinney and his wife Mary of Holbrook, and Michelle Aiello and her husband Joseph of Avon. A cherished Grammy to Tommy, Nicole, Leeann, Nicholas, Zachary, Hunter, and Joey, and GiGi to Faithlynn, and another great-grandchild on the way.

Ann is survived by her brother, John Kelley, and his wife Lynne of Abington. Loving sister-in-law to Richard and Gail Phinney of Vermont, Ronald and Ruth Phinney of Alabama, and Paula and Rod Ord of Marshfield. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. She is now reunited in heaven with her siblings Thomas, Marie, Dorothy, and Walter.

Ann was a devoted animal lover and will be missed by Maverick, Max, Cabela, and Trixie. They will miss all the extra treats from her.

Ann’s life was filled with joy and adventures, especially during her winters in Florida, where she made countless friends and embarked on numerous fun escapades. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, Harbor Isle Honeys for many years. Ann enjoyed attending fabric painting classes, plays, dinners, outings, going to the beach, and shopping with her friends. You could always catch her riding her bike around the park.

A devout Catholic, Ann’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. Her love and dedication to her family and friends will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, April 6th, from 3:00-6:00pm at the Hurley Currie Funeral Home, 127 S. Franklin St. (RT. 37),
Holbrook. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 7th, at 10:00am at St. Mary’s Church, Randolph, followed by burial at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
