Carol S. Staffier (Jermyn), 77, of Avon died Saturday June 6th after a long illness. Daughter of the late Howard G. and Hope M. Jermyn, she is survived by her loving children, Jennifer Noel and her husband Sean of Raynham, Derek Staffier and his wife Virginia of Avon, and Craig Staffier and his girlfriend Lauren Williams of Brockton, as well as her two grandchildren Matthew Noel of Taunton, and Michael Noel and his wife Amelia of Norwood, and her two great-grandchildren Adelaide and Sutton Noel of Norwood. She is further survived by her beloved sisters, Dorothy H. Galo of Hingham, and Marjorie K. Perry of Florida.

Carol loved being active. She founded a fitness program within the Randolph Elks and continued to find outlets for this passion throughout her life. Carol loved playing and creating games for her family and friends and enjoyed traveling. She is a founding member of a travel group known as the “Avon 10.” Carol spent her career helping students within the Massachusetts Community College system. Carol spent much of her life traveling to her family’s land in Washington, ME, where she would relax and enjoy peaceful time with her loved ones.

Carol was predeceased by her husband of almost 60 years, Francis P. Staffier of Avon, her granddaughter Meaghan Noel of Taunton, as well as her brothers Howard G. Jermyn III, William F. Jermyn, Frank R. Jermyn & sisters Martha A. Shuka and Nancy E. Wilkie.

Visiting hours are Tuesday June 16th, 2026, from 4-7pm at Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St., Randolph, MA.  A funeral service will be held at the Avon Baptist Church, 119 N Main St, Avon, MA 02322 on Wednesday, June 17th, 2026 at 10am. Interment to follow at Saint Michael’s Cemetery in Avon.
