Eva was a hard working and dedicated woman who remained employed to the age of 90. She spent 20 years at White’s Bakery where she took great pride in helping customers and in keeping a “perfect” cookie case. Every Saturday evening, she would bring treats to the Holbrook Fire Station and to St. Joseph’s Rectory. Eva was an avid bowler who loved taking care of her house and yard, and treasured the friendships she shared with her neighbors. Nothing brought her more joy than a full table for Sunday dinner, surrounded by her sisters, sharing stories and laughing over memories of their childhood home in Hyde Park. Above all, she was kind, loving, generous and deeply devoted to her family. More than anything, Eva loved her family.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Joseph Church in Holbrook on Monday, May 18th at 10am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bridges of Pembroke Employee Appreciation Fund, 49 Cross Street, Pembroke, MA 02359 or My Brother’s Keeper, 534 Washington St, North Easton, MA 02356.

Eva you were a great lady. I’m not surprised you made it to 98 years old. I’ll never forget how you’d come walking into Randolph Savings Bank waving a check in the air saying what am I going to do with this. And the many times you brought us in treats from the bakery.
