Stephen M. Tolson

Stephen M. Tolson, of Avon, passed away peacefully October 9, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Boston, Steve was raised and educated in Avon. He served in the US Marines, was a member of the Amvets, and was an avid Boston sports fan.

Beloved son of the late Paul and Dorothy (Hommel) Tolson. Loving brother of Paul Tolson and his wife Donna of Canton, Ken Tolson and his wife Kim of Easton, Diane Avery and her companion Jim Connolly of Brockton, and Barbara Cunningham and her husband Bill of Avon. Long-time friend of Andrea McQuarrie of Dighton. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph on Saturday, October 13th at 10am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday, October 12th from 4-8pm. Interment at a later date at MA National Cemetery, Bourne. Late US Marine Veteran.
