Bob grew up in Jamaica Plain and graduated from Boston English High School. He lived and raised his family for the past 33 years in Randolph. Bob was a restaurant manager for many years before starting his career with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a supervisor in the Department of Transitional Assistance. Bob’s greatest love was spending time with family and making people laugh.

He enjoyed the annual vacations in Saco Maine and an occasional trip to Disney World. Bob was an avid lover of music; he had a large collection of vinyl and CDs. He enjoyed concerts, his two favorite artists were Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan.

For the past four and a half years Bob fought a valiant battle with ALS. Taking time to enjoy the things he loved the most, spending time with family and friends, watching documentaries on musicians, watching Boston sports teams, and movies from numerous streaming services from all different genres. One of Bob’s all-time favorite activities was spending time with Lilah playing games or watching you tube videos.

Bob's favorite dinner was ice cream. Sunday family diners were a very important at time. He as was known to take cell phones away to ensure quality family time. He once purchased a cell phone plastic jail with a lock, when all else failed, the cell phones were housed in the microwave for safe keeping.

The family would like to acknowledge the excellent care that Bob received for the last three weeks of his life from the staff of Milton Hospital ICU. The family would also like to acknowledge the excellent care, and guidance from the Ma General ALS Clinic over the four and a half years.
