Potential Bobby Prayer Card Picutre (1)

Robert “Bobby” Francis Richardson Jr.

July 26, 1977 – July 15, 2024
Resident of North Providence, RI - Randolph, MA

Robert “Bobby” Francis Richardson Jr., 46, of North Providence, formerly of Randolph, MA, passed away July 15th at his home, unexpectedly from a cardiac event.

Born July 26th 1977 to Mary Richardson and Robert “Bob” Richardson, Bobby grew up in a house filled with love and laughter.  His childhood summers were spent with family on Cape Cod, where countless good times and memories were created, none of which were owed to his old school playlist on his relic iPod touch that he insisted playing on repeat.

After graduating New Hampshire College, he spent his entire 25-year career dedicated to working for Fidelity Investments. He was a loyal and reliable employee who advanced several positions during his employment.

His unexpected passing is a shock to us all.  He was a caring, selfless person who would do anything for you.  He was the life at any party and enjoyed the company of others.  He enjoyed wagering on sporting events and always energetically looked forward to a day at the racetrack watching the horses.

His passion was anything sports related.  He always supported his local sports teams with the Patriots being his favorite. He used those sporting events to bring loved ones closer.  He generously manned the grill, filled the crockpot and ordered enough food to feed an army for every Patriots game. Truly the glue that kept family and friends together, his magnetic personality and infectious laugh will be missed by all.  All his family and friends will remember and cherish the good times they were able to have with him.  Our family has suffered a great loss and he will be severely missed by all of us.

Rest In Peace Brother.  We all love you and miss you.

He is survived by his loving parents, Mary Richardson and Robert “Bob” Richardson, younger brother, John Richardson, and nephews Anthony and Jacob. Along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, July 26th at the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph, from 4-8pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.  And the next time you watch a Patriots game, think of Bobby by having a beer and betting against the spread.
