Mike served in the Navy and worked for the post office. In his younger days, he bowled and played darts. He loved watching the Red Sox and told stories of being a “gallery god” at the old garden watching the Bruins. He enjoyed simple camping vacations and splitting his retirement between the beaches in Florida and campgrounds in New England, with the occasional cruise mixed in. He liked listening to Joe Castiglione call Sox games on the radio next to a campfire with a cold Bud. He loved taking his granddaughter fishing at his campground and bringing her to the candy store as a reward once they caught one. Mike just loved being around people, telling jokes and stories.
