Marie (Connolly) Walsh, of Randolph, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025, at the age of 86. Beloved wife for 45 years of the late James (Sonny) Walsh, Randolph Police Detective. Devoted sister of Carol Mull of Abington and Ann Heffel of Halifax. Predeceased by her parents, Thomas F. and Eleanor Connolly, and her siblings, Barbara Fernandes, Eleanor Donahoe, Patricia Merrick, and Thomas P. Connolly. Marie was also loved by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A graduate of Randolph High School, Marie was a retired employee of Verizon. She was a passionate gardener and a member of the Garden Club. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband, Sonny.
Visiting hours will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph on Monday, August 4th from 9-10am followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary Church in Randolph at 10:30am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Randolph.

So very sorry Annie. You were so close and so good to her. I know you are hurting I wish there was something I could do to ease your pain. You were a wonderful sister to her. I have known Marie since we’re in High School and worked with her at Verizon. She was just a wonderful person inside and out! In my thoughts and prayers ❤️🙏
