Kevin M. Bronski
April 7, 1951 – December 28, 2025
Resident of Randolph, MA
After a long illness, Kevin M. Bronski of Randolph died peacefully at home on December 28, where he had been given extraordinary loving care by his wife Ann Marie and a team of devoted aides. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ann Marie (nee Hanley); son Daniel of Port Townsend, WA; son Christopher of Quincy; and predeceased son Mark of Braintree; sister Mary of Needham; sister Meg (Sonny) Massaro of Harwich; and brother John (Mary) of Needham. He is also survived by grandchildren Quinn and Daphne and numerous nieces and nephews.
Kevin was born in Dorchester to Robert and Mary (Downing) Bronski, attended grammar and high school there. He graduated from Dorchester High School, where he was a standout student and athlete, serving as captain of the football team his Senior year. He went on to study at Northeastern University, receiving both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in History, as well as an MBA in business – all while raising his family of 3 sons with his wife, Ann Marie.
In the early 1990’s, Kevin became an entrepreneur and opened Metalsmith’s, a successful sheet metal business in his hometown of Dorchester. It was there he began to take in and care for a colony of the neighborhood’s lost, abandoned, and feral cats, some of whom he adopted himself and brought home to enjoy life as pampered pets.
When not busy running his business, Kevin was a lifelong avid reader, coached youth sports, taught in local high schools and community colleges, and stayed fit working out at the gym.
Kevin will be remembered for his well-honed work ethic, his generous spirit, his commitment to family, love of history, poetry and Irish music and his compassion for the felines he rescued and befriended. Funeral services will be private. There will be a later notification of a Memorial gathering where all will be welcome.
Donations in Kevin’s memory can be made to OldColonyHospice.org, 321 Manley St, West Bridgewater, MA, 02379.
