Dorothy E. McNeilly Donovan

Dorothy E. (McNeilly) Donovan, of Holbrook, passed away peacefully January 30, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy was born, raised, and educated in Cambridge and had been a resident of Holbrook for over 60 years. She worked at Armstrong Corp for over 25 years. Dorothy enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Foxwoods, and Twin River, and playing poker with her family.

Beloved wife of the late Paul F. Donovan, Sr. Loving mother of Marcia Clark of Mashpee, Gregg Donovan of Holbrook, Todd Donovan of Quincy, Shawn Donovan of MD, Scott Donovan, Kerry Moran of Holbrook, and the late Paul Donovan, Jr. and Cindy Tino. Devoted sister of John McNeilly, Sr. of FL and the late Anne O’Doherty. Best friend to her loving and trusting friend, Gloria Walsh. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held the Hurley Funeral Home, 127 So. Franklin St. (Rt. 37), Holbrook, on Friday, February 3rd at 8:15am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday, February 2nd from 4-8pm. Interment MA National Cemetery, Bourne. Due to floral restrictions at the cemetery, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dorothy’s memory to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
