Deborah Merlo Forman

Passed on September 17, 2022
Resident of W. Bridgewater, MA

Deborah Merlo Forman passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022 at home in West Bridgewater after a courageous five year long battle with breast cancer. Born in Boston on April 30, 1959, she was the daughter of Joseph and Carol Merlo. In addition to her parents, she is survived by three sisters: Dinise (Michael) Barone, Diana O’Keefe, and Darlene Madore as well as many nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her husband, John Lantz, and her three loving children: Evan Forman, Carolyn (Brian) Rooney, Janelle (JD) Craig all of Easton, MA as well as her five grandchildren Jack, Brielle, Shae, Thomas, and Maeve.

Deborah had a knack for color and spatial relationships, so she went to the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, formerly known as North Adams State College, and became a talented Interior Designer.

She had an infectious love of life. She loved planning and going on trips. Whether the trip was long or short, to the beach or to the mountains she had a way of making it special. She was always willing to be the first one to dance.

She was a loving and caring person who was always there for her family and friends. She had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and fought harder than anyone thought possible to stay here on earth to watch them grow up.

She was the love of John’s life, and he was grateful to have known her love. Services to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, September 23rd from 4 to 7 at Hurley Funeral Home, 134 S Main Street, Randolph, MA 02368. A Mass will be held on Saturday, September 24th at 10:30 at Immaculate Conception Church, 193 Main Street, North Easton, MA 02356.

In lieu of flowers please send a donation to Tufts breast cancer fund in Deborah’s name to: Tufts Medical Center, 800 Washington Street, Box 231, Boston, MA 02111.
