Danilo Farias
July 28, 1940 – April 24, 2025
Resident of Boston, MA
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Danilo Farias, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who left us peacefully at the age of 84.
Danilo lived a full and vibrant life, rich with laughter, love, and hard work. A proud and passionate Yankees fan, he found joy in watching baseball games, playing dominoes with friends and family, and enjoying good company with a drink in hand. Above all, he cherished the moments spent surrounded by his family — his greatest pride and joy.
A man of remarkable skill and dedication, Danilo devoted the majority of his life to mastering many trades. Whether as a plumber, electrician, or carpenter, he was known as the ultimate handyman — someone who could fix, build, or improve anything with steady hands and a generous heart. His tireless work ethic and quiet strength left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Danilo is survived by his loving wife, Elena (Matilde) Fernandez, and his children: Alexis Farias, Ricardo Farias, Carol J Farias, Mariana Farias, Cristina Farias, and Aurora (Ailyn) Fernandez. He is also survived by his beloved daughter-in-law and sons-in-law: Aracelis Farias, Lucy Farias, and Kiko Concepcion. His legacy lives on through his grandchildren: Ricardo Farias, Stephanie Farias, Bryan Concepcion, Calvin Concepcion, Leslie Farias, Jancarlos Concepcion, Chandler Farias, Lindsay Farias, Jaden Guzman, Diego Farias, Danny Farias, and Jadiel Guzman. Danilo was also blessed to meet and celebrate the arrival of his first great-grandchild, Hazen Farias.
In addition to his immediate family, Danilo leaves behind a large and loving extended family, including his siblings, nephews, nieces, and many dear friends, all of whom were touched by his warmth, wisdom, and kindness.
Danilo’s life was a testament to hard work, family, and living with warmth and resilience. He leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and will honor his memory by living their lives with the same strength, humor, and love he exemplified.
He will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.
