Carl J. Mueller, Jr., 92, a longtime resident of Randolph, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2023, surrounded by family. Carl was a graduate of the Plymouth High School Class of 1949, a group he stayed close with even in his most recent years. He studied at Boston University, receiving a bachelor’s degree in business. He also served in the US Navy on the destroyer, USS Jarvis during the Korean Conflict. Carl worked many years as a pharmacy and bookstore designer and sales of store fixtures. In his early retirement years, he worked assisting the residents of Orchard Cove in Canton, a role he truly cherished.

He was a caring person who enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and friends. Carl was predeceased by his beloved wife, Madelyn in 2016, his parents Carl Sr. and Mary Mueller and a brother, Richard and sister, Marilyn of Plymouth. Father of Paul and his wife Donna of Bedford, N.H., Scott of Manchester, N.H., Carl III (Bud) and Yvette of Holbrook, Donna of Randolph, Mary Carter of Middleboro, and John and wife Donna of Abington. Grandfather of ten and great-grandfather of three.

Visting hours will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 South Main Street in Randolph on Friday, November 17th, from 8:30am-9:30am followed by a funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church, 211 North Main Street in Randolph at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will follow in Plymouth. Late US Navy Veteran. The family thanks the nursing staff of Emerson 5 at South Shore Hospital for the compassionate care of their father.
