Barbara A. (Beaudry) Lloyd

Barbara Ann (Beaudry) Lloyd, 91, formerly of Quincy and Holbrook, passed away July 24, 2025.  She was the loving wife for 53 years of the late Frederick Lloyd.

Barbara was born in Quincy on May 3, 1934, the daughter of Alphonse and Mary Beaudry, and the loving sister of the late Francis Beaudry of Pembroke.  She is survived by her son Paul and his wife Mary, her daughter Joanne “Jodi” and her husband Rick, and her two grandsons Eric and Kyle Kenneally.  Predeceased by her first son-in-law Paul J. Kenneally.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Earlier in life, Barbara was very active in scouting, earning the prestigious Silver Fawn award, the highest national award and honor a volunteer can attain in scouting.  She played Bingo regularly and loved dining out for lunch.  She was always “ready to go out for lunch”.

She was also a former employee of the telephone company in the early years, Suburban Insurance, Boston College High School, and Boston College where she earned a bachelor’s degree in 1986.

For the last 3 years, she has received excellent healthcare at Alliance Health Care in Braintree.  The family would like to reward those who took such good care of her.  In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alliance Employees Christmas Party would be greatly appreciated via Alliance Health Care, c/o Kara Perkins, 175 Grove St., Braintree, MA 02184.

Visiting hours will be held at the Hurley Currie Funeral Home, 127 So. Franklin St. (Rt. 37), Holbrook on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 10am-12pm followed by a service at 12pm.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.  Interment private.
