David K. Cosby

David K. Cosby, of Hyde Park, passed away peacefully in his home in Braintree on August 1, 2026, at the age of 80.  David was a lifelong resident of Hyde Park. He loved cooking, traveling, Nantasket Beach & the Blue hills.

David is survived by his niece Kimberly and her husband Timothy O’Connell of Holbrook, his nephews James Jeannetti of Florida and Andre Verronneau of Florida, his brother Brian Cosby of Hyde Park, his great-nephews Luke and Brady O’Connell of Holbrook, as well as many cousins and friends.

Dave was predeceased by his parents, James J Cosby & Mildred E. (Breault) Cosby, his sons, Douglas Cosby & Wayne Cosby, his sister Martha Cosby, and his nephew Jean Paul Verronneau.

Memorial visiting hours will be held at the Hurley Currie Funeral Home, 127 So. Franklin St. (Rt. 37), Holbrook on Tuesday, August 11th from 5-7pm.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
