Diane (Slaney) DiFronzo
Passed on December 12, 2025
Resident of Randolph, MA
Diane (Slaney) DiFronzo of Randolph passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on December 12, 2025, at the age of 73.
She was the beloved wife of the late John J. DiFronzo and a devoted mother to Jason DiFronzo of Brockton and Jodi A. Abbott and her husband Michael of Stoughton. Diane was a cherished grandmother to Kaitlyn M. Abbott and Meghan E. Abbott, who brought her immense joy.
Diane was the loving sister of Wayne Nickerson of Farmington, Maine, and the late Donna L. Perry, Richard A. Slaney, and Bernard Slaney. She is also survived by many extended family members throughout the country.
Raised in Jamaica Plain, Diane met and married the love of her life at just 18 years old. Together, they later moved to Randolph, where they built a home and raised their family. Diane found happiness in the simple pleasures of life—knitting, reading, playing bingo, and spending time with her precious Maltese, Molly, whom she adored.
All services will be private. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life on Sunday, December 21st, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Chateau Restaurant, 1165 Park Street, Stoughton.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Diane’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association.

Jay and Jodi,
It was such a pleasure having the chance to meet, work with, and get to know your mom. She was so strong willed, hardowrking, and loved you guys immensely. She was sharp as a tac and it was always such a light in my day to work with her. My thought and prayers are with you guys during this time.

Jay and Jodi,
I know that you don’t know me, because somewhere in time when I knew your mom and dd, you 2 were born. I remember both your mom and your dad spent much time with the 2 of them. You see, your dad was my best friend growing up, and he met your mom. They really hit it off and became inseparable. During that time the war in Vietnam was still going on and I had wish I was home for their wedding, however I will make this short. Your mom and dad were very much in love and I was very happy for the both of them. I will never forget all the great times we had together in Jamaica plain, and maybe 1 day I will see them again. Much Loe to both of you Rich Fargo.
