Thomas J. Mullaney, of Avon, formerly of Randolph, passed away August 11, 2025, at the age of 77.  Tom is survived by his two brothers, Tim Mullaney of Avon and Dennis Mullaney of Plympton, and his son, Patrick Mullaney and wife Julia of Vacaville, CA.  He was a proud grandfather to Jack and Kiera.

Tom proudly served his country in the US Army in Vietnam and was a recipient of the Purple Heart.  He was lifetime member of the Randolph Elks, American Legion in West Quincy, Amvets Post 51 in Randolph, the DAV Post 39, and the VFW Post 3389.

A funeral service will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph on Monday, August 18th at 10am followed by a burial at Central Cemetery in Randolph.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom’s memory can be made to the MSPCA-Angell Animal Medical Center of Boston via mspca.org.

    I am very sad to learn of Tom’s passing. He was a wonderful friend to me. He was very loyal to those people that he loved and liked. If you earned his friendship, you should consider yourself very fortunate. I will always miss him, Tom was one of a kind.
