Ashley M. Sturtevant

Passed on August 26, 2024
Resident of Avon, MA

Ashley M. Sturtevant, of Avon, MA, beloved daughter of Edward and Denise (Conley) Sturtevant, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 26th. She came into this world in the same way she left it – in the loving arms of her mother.

Ashley was a graduate of Randolph High School and the University of MA – Boston, earning degrees in nursing and criminal justice. But her passion was in the service industry, where she worked in restaurants she loved while also running a cleaning company where she was able to be of help to her many clients. She adored everyone she worked with and truly loved what she did.

While Ashley was an instigator as a child, earning the nicknames of ‘the little itch and termite’, she had the biggest and most loving heart of all. She was constantly ensuring everyone was taken care of, whether it was her family, friends, co-workers or strangers. She had the ability to make you feel special, and she would give all her energy and every last dollar to make sure you knew you were cared for and that you were loved.

In addition to spending time with her family and friends, Ashley loved to travel and spent several vacations in Europe. She also loved to draw and color, which she enjoyed more so while doing it with her adored nephew, Sawyer.

In Ashley’s final days, she was with her sister Hayley, brother Ryan, her uncles Tom and Barry and her cousin Lori. Her loving parents never left her side.

In addition to her parents, Ashley is survived by her sister Hayley (Sturtevant) Ford, her brother Ryan and sister-in-law Arianna Sturtevant of Boston and their son Sawyer, her cat Daisy, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Ashely is the sister of the late Susan Sturtevant and James Sturtevant of Avon, and the granddaughter of the late James and Gertrude Conley and Edward and Tynne Sturtevant.

Family and Friends are invited to visiting hours at Hurley Funeral Home on 134 S. Main St., Randolph on Wednesday, September 4th from 4:00-7:00 PM and Thursday, September 5th at 9:00 AM to be followed by a memorial mass at St. Michael’s Church on 87 N. Main St., Avon at 10am and burial service at St. Michael’s Cemetery immediately following.
