Resident of Randolph, MA

Kathleen M. (Fitzpatrick) Rakoski, of Randolph, passed away October 26, 2022, at the age of 74. Beloved wife of Paul Rakoski. Loving mother of Kim and her husband Michael McCarthy of Abington, and Paul Rakoski and wife Mary of Newmarket, NH. Cherished grandmother of Molly, Joseph, and Grace McCarthy of Abington. Sister of Karen Degan of FL, Richard Fitzpatrick of Quincy, Audrey Shea of Quincy, Cheryl Callahan of Norwell, Jane Connors of Weymouth. Predeceased by her son, Baby Richard, and her siblings, Nancy Perella and Baby Paul. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Kathy was a retired secretary for the Randolph Public Schools. She was a woman of faith and a communicant of St. Mary Parish as well as served as Eucharistic Minister. She was an avid reader of books, a great bowler, always enjoyed settling in on her yoga mat and spoiling her grandchildren, but her favorite thing of all was dropping everything at a moment’s notice when a day of shopping was mentioned.

Kathy loved her family most of all and her greatest accomplishments were being mother to her children and a wonderful Mammie to her grandchildren.
Her family would like to extend a special thank you to doctors Matthew Coggins and Andrew Lundquist and their teams for their compassion and kindness in Kathy’s care.
