Irene M. Sass Apromollo

Irene M. (Sass) Apromollo, 95, of Randolph, passed away peacefully at home on October 15, 2022. She was a homemaker and a loving and devoted wife and mother. She worked as a school crossing guard for the town of Randolph for over 30 years while raising 7 children. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her family, pet cats, and going to Las Vegas.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Charles Apromollo, her daughters, Linda O’Neil (William of Randolph), Barbara Cunningham (William) of Avon, her grandchildren, Jaime Cunningham of Avon, Patrick Hurley of Randolph, and her son-in-law, Joseph Estella of Randolph. She is survived by her daughters, Irene Estella, Carole Hurley and Richard, Ann Clements and Russell, all of Randolph, Janet Collins and Joseph of Brockton, and her son, Michael Apromollo and Christine of Plymouth. She was the grandmother of Jodo, Kevin, Nicholas, Michaela, and Dominic, and great-grandmother of Giovanni, Maddison, Colton, Charlotte, and Liam, and one on the way. Loving sister of Josephine Davison of NC and Arthur Sass of Avon and the late Ernest Sass of AZ.

Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph on Monday, October 24h at 9:15am followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary Church in Randolph at 10am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held, Sunday, October 23rd from 2-5pm. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Randolph.
