Lillian Fisher
Passed on January 5, 2020
Resident of Ft. Lauderdale FL - Tamarack FL - Randolph, MA
Fisher, Lillian, “Muffinâ€, “Lil†and “Minka†(O’Connor) age 81, formerly of Randolph, MA, Ft. Lauderdale and Tamarack FL passed away Sunday January 5, 2020 with her family by her side. Lillian was the child of the late Lillian and Hanley O’Connor. She worked at the Longwood Hospital as a Labor and Delivery Nurse welcoming newborns into the world with her huge Hollywood smile. She also assisted her husband Tom beginning a family-owned business before working in the Oral Surgery field until pursuing her true passion for dance. Lil became a dancer as well as the Lead Choreographer for The Fabulous Florida Follies, an elite group of retired showgirl dancers who performed throughout the Florida entertainment circuit raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for less-fortunate children. Minka’s greatest thrill was taking her family away for their annual Fisher Family vacations. Being with her kids and grandkids was never a rest for her because she played the hardest among all the kids, much too busy to ever slow down.
Lillian was born in Boston, MA and travelled the world with her husband, Tom, to whom she was married for 64 years. She was blessed by an extensive list of friends and family. Lillian is survived by her husband, Thomas; daughter Jacquelyn and her husband Robert Churchill; son Timothy and his wife Robin Fisher; and daughter-in-law Denise Fisher. She was predeceased by her son Thomas Fisher II. She was blessed to have seven grandchildren; Thomas Fisher III, Gregory Churchill, Jillian (Fisher) Harrington, Alyson Churchill, Jamie Fisher, Kimberly Fisher, and the late Dena Marie Fisher, as well as two great-grandchildren, Addison and Logan Harrington. Dear sister Grace Levesque and Patricia O'Connor.
